Two gigs coming up to mention. Firstly this Fri. night in the Twisted Pepper we return to our Residency in the Bernard Shaw with the man of the moment Johnny Pluse. For those who didn't see him posing in the Star newspaper last week, let us fill you in. His Label Bulabeats is on its 40th release now and Johnny's bringin' his one man band this fri on the Dublin leg of whats looking like a busy summer ahead for the King of Trim! Also on the night is Dirty Dubsters with Saxman Anton and Hydra on Visual duties which will spread out over 6 different screens throughout the bar - this looks Sick, trust we...Last time the Shaw was Rockin hard!
And so to the BIG ONE...Irish Moss Records are back with another UK Reggae / Dancehall artist who has been causing a storm with his conscious lyricism and seriously catchy hooks and flows. YT Ripped it up at Life Festival last year and will certainly do some damage to the Twisted Pepper Stage rm. Accompanied on the night by Dirty Dubsters before they split ways to undertake numerous big bookings for the summer including, Boomtown, UK, Shambala (Canada) NYC, Toronto and more. Catch the Dubsters dropping some exclusive album tracks which they hope to release Dec 2012. Dublin Favourite Lex Woo will also be dropping his blend of Raggae, calypso, Dancehall and all the oddities and rare groove vinyls in this dudes collection. MC Little Tree will be making the trip across from his new home of Cardiff to Host the main Rm. Proceedings.
It doesn't stop there though... The Jamaican Village will be spread through to the Bar area also with Carlos, Shimmy, Ras Tinny & Co. providing the tunes while you sip from a special 'Irish Moss'Cocktail and eat proper Caribbean grilled treats from the 'Jerk Shack' this is going to be a very memorable night so get down early and for your 5e tickets - jsut like the Irish Moss Records page on facebook and drop us a line on the event wall. It's been really great to see everyone coming down for these shows so far so we'd like to thank you all and we look forward to more unbeatable live vibrations May 25th.
